my transmission went out on my car.

they quoted me 4500 for a refurb tranny with 3/36000 warrenty. i called honda america and waiting for them to call me back. hopefully theyll cover some of it. or looks like my car will be a nice paper weight for a while.

you know you can get a tranny in a junkyard or pick a part or something like that for way less, right? if you know how to put it in, it'd save you a bunch of money.

i remember a member in vegas bought his from a parts website. he bought the 04 manual transmission for his 02 or something and he said it was much better. he got it for cheap too....
