Got my ride back!

As some of you may know (and none of you really care), a couple years ago my car went down with 3 bent valves from the tensioner on my timing belt getting fried. Because I didn't have the $$$, it sat around for about a year before it could get repaired. Because of that, the catalytic converter corroded and sprung a leak.

I'm glad to say that the last part of that is fixed . I just got my car back yesterday with a new (free!) Cat, and I can actually hear my exhaust now. I also have the ability to get my car smogged, which means I can now register the car. It's the first time in years that I haven't seen that stupid "check engine" light on in my car, and it really is beautiful.

FYI Federal warranty is 8 years/80k miles for Cats, so don't be afraid to take it in. Props to Livermore Honda which didn't give me any grief about it.

It's a federal warranty, so if you have a cat that has less than 80k miles and less than 8 year old... then you are eligible. Doesn't matter if you have aftermarket exhaust or anything, you still qualify

Why do you want pics? lol, the car looks the same, it just sounds better now

Life w/ the newborn is a whole lotta fun. He's getting his last baby shower with the ladies at my church Saturday, so I'm gonna head out to the "Rio Linda Bass Festival".

He's the cutest little guy though And let me tell you, if you aren't married, find a baby and walk around with it, girls will go gaga over the baby... and you

hmmm... I don't think so. Did you get a check engine light? The CEL will come on if it's the cat, that's what happened to me. Then the computer will throw a code saying it's the cat, that's how Honda and I knew that it was the cat...

Good luck
