Question Where to roll fenders?

anyone know a shop around the bay area that rolls fenders?

most shops will do it...but just remember there is a risk that you paint will crack on the inside which could lead to outside cracking

its better to shave off then roll. not sure how it works, but i think member rjsocky or something like that shaved his instead of rolling his fenders?

if its shaved right...you will have a less chance of paint chipping probably

well the problem is the tires is wider than the outside wall of the fender, so when going over bumps, the tires will hit against it.

actual rolling if done right will not effect anything and will make that area stronger.

Cutting or gringing the inside removes that extra rigidness in that area.

Buy this and start a mini side business and roll other peoples fenders for extra cash.

I heard of people getting theirs cut using a plasma cutter. Maybe call some shops up and ask if they can plasma cut your fenders.

i used to have a set of 17"x7.5 Rota Subzero. i just used a base ball bat to roll my fender. anyway....it works for me!

oh man...the place i went to won't even touch my car with that fender roller unless they showed me how to do it and i did it all myself. they didnt wanna be responsible for cracked paint.

just takes time when you do it your self, i plan on doing all the fenders using something round....

yep you gotta agree that they will not be responsibe for cracked paint..mine cracked but you cant see it
