i saw a thread about this a week ago. they were saying that it depends on how much you lower your car. a camber kit isn't always necessary, but is nice to use when lowering your car.

yeah, i dont think it's required if you're doing a small drop, but I think anything about 1.5 or so should use a camber kit. You dont NEED one when you lower, it's just nice to have because it saves your tire's life. It can mean the difference between getting 15K miles on tires, and getting 30k+ miles.
it varies. some want it, some need it, some dont.
if u dont want to spend that extra $130, wait til u drop the car then see if you really need a camber kit or not. i did my springs AND camber at the same time so i didnt know whether i really needed it not.
and theres a suspension faq

I just thought of 1 other thing.
When I had my drop, I had 17" rims....you could tell in the back that a camber kit could
be needed, but switching to my 15" rotas, the problem went away.

I lowered mine on coilovers and needed a camber kit cause im a natzi and like everything to be perfect, Plus I don't want to go thru tires quicker. My buddy has springs on it and his camber is ok. I say if you have springs then you should be ok, but coilovers you might want to get the camber kit.

no u dont need a camber kit, doesnt matter if u lower your car 1" or 5'", a camber is only neccessary if u want to save your tire wear, personally the negative camber doesnt effect me, i had never had a set of wheels long enought to get camber wear
