differences between standard and automatic motors

My motor blew up. I found another one and I need to know
if the motors out of a 2001 ex civic STANDARD is the exact same
as the motor out of a 2001 ex civic AUTOMATIC (before and over
states the obvious the motor). I know in earlier generations one
of the differences was the cam. But I don't know about 7th generations.
Real answers, no guesses Please. (I have already tried to search but couldn't
find anything)

i think the engine are set the same but a member who did a AT to MT swap had to buy a new subframe, axels, and engine harness. then you would need the AT itself and all the little things needed to make it work, including cable, the AT shift boot, etc..
why not keep looking for another MT engine instead, why go to AT?

I don't want to swap the trans. only the motor. I just wanted to know if the motors were exactly the same?
