I don't understand why people who put all the effort into engine swaps sell their ride. Not just Civics but RSXs, too. I really don't get it unless you can get at or near twice as much money back for what your car was worth new.
I dunno... even though engine swaps are cheaper now... it's still cheaper to put in a K20A2 and buy a Civic than it is to just buy the car that comes with the K20A2. I don't see why people just swap and ditch their ride. You guys must realize you have a lot more money than you think you had to begin with when it came to choosing a car.
Anyway, congrats. Enjoy.

I liked the HASport mounts in my car...it gave the car very agressive acceleration. Just wish i didnt have to modify the mounts so that they would work. You should look into that Brian.

The part of the mount that actually mounts onto the car has to be modified...the holes dont all line up. Nothing big...nothing a little saw cant fix...just unexpected after spending $520 on HASport Mounts.
dont ask where i got mounts for that cheap...i get them at cost.

You and one other perosn complained of that. I wonder if there are some minor differences in the way the cars are constructed or possibly no one else is saying anything.
When I did my car I did not have to modify anything, but when I did Fiber Images car, I had to slot two of the holes to line up better.
But no sawing had to be done.
Em2Guy, when I said stock mounts rip I didn't mean the brackets you welded in. You did a great job with those. I was refering to the passenger side fluid filled mount. They rip if you dirve the car very hard.
Very nice job with the weld in though. Your pictorial shows exactly why we make a bolt in kit.

Swap = more practical (all-motor, will love you long time)
Turbo = better look (your car will certainly look like it'll go faster... as it will. Turbos always look good.)
I guess it depends on how you see "practical" and "better look"
