you can use the metallic paint by duplicolor. but if you dont trust yourself with a spray paint, you can always get it powder coated, and it shouldnt cost much

Doesn't the DC Bar clear CAI's ? You know, caseu some bars don't fit with some cold air intakes.

it should fit the UK type R, but I could be wrong

The DC bar leaves a-lot of clearence, I'd be more concerned with the bolt pattern on the UK R then the clearence ....
