ak can only hope to improve
Nice upgrade, however i'm dissappointed at the V6 engine. I went to the MazdaSpeed track thingie and the V6 felt as slow as my Civic!

Handling hauls *** though... and of course i'd rather drive the Mazda6 over my Civic anyday.

Congratulations dude

The AV6-6 is 240HP, not 260. That's Acura's Accords.

Nah... the 6i is as fast as a Civic and the 6s can't break 14s. The gear ratios suck being too long. It's 0-60 is okay but it's 60-0 is better. It's smaller yet heavier than the Accord. Handling and steering response is what you can expect from a Mazda which is great. I kind of like how it looks on the inside but it looks too much like a Corrola from the rear. I mistake it for a Toyota every time I see it. I dunno how I thought it looked so unique at first when it first was released until I saw it in person. What color is yours?

I still think it's a fun kaa as I'd prefer a car that turns nicely more than just straight-line speed - it's just the transmission I dislike.

how it looks, i got no problem with it
safety, i think i got a good deal
speed and power, i think i can hang
insurance prices went down.
If i got an accord, i would still end up paying what I'm paying now because if you get a honda, you will for sure have a higher rate in your insurance. I saved $40 a month for insurance with this car right now against a civic. I don't know why?...

Most Hondas and some obvious Acuras are naturally high in insurance because:

Kids mod them.
Kids crash them.
Everybody has one.
And everybody get into accidents, too.

Cars such as the Civic, Accord, Integra/RSX have high insurance rates. Hell the ****ing RSX-S costs more to insure than the S2000 and an Integra Type R is as much as an E36 (I think the 36 or 46) BMW M3 - so it's only certain Hondas.

You're definitely right on saving money getting the Mazda.
