::COUGH:: hey jkim, what was your time again??? ::COUGH:: heheheh.....
That event was pretty cool, but the car itself was fairly slow.
Traction control OFF + full throttle + 220hp V6 auto = no peel out??? Lacks A LOT of low end torque...heck my civic felt faster!
No neck-snapping performance car here. What cars did you test drive?
I test drove:
Mazda6 (V6 and I4): Both relatively slow, but handling is GREAT. Feels very smooth...
Protege (the wagon thing): LOTS of under steer... felt like crap.
MPV (yes the minivan): oh man.. you had to turn the wheel 6 times to barely turn the wheels... crazy understeer and no grip on the tires. Wasn't that fun jkim? Hahaha... 3 asian guys in a minivan bumping mexican music.
Miata (auto): Yup, definetely fun but also slow. Handling and ride quality were both superior but the interior is wayy too tight for me.
Overall, my view on Mazda vehicles has become more positive.
