LJ Garcia (for those of you who dont know anything about imports, hes an import legend and the one with the Yellow Feels Good Civic Hatch on 19s). I was working today and he wanted to buy something for his phone. I reconized him and said wassup. He told his next project coming out is a 98 4 Door Civic on 20s! Thats sick. Well I showed him my car parked outside, and he said he might be working on 2k1s after his 4 door. Haha, that would be tight.

20's on a civic is overkill, buy a luxury car..... i really hope he doesn't put a turbo on this next project [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG] oh well i will still give the man props for his position... but instead of superstreet covers, he will be seeing more lowrider euro in his days to come

he might have a crazy kit to back up the 20s, this guy is not legend for doing overkill things. i guess we'll all have to wait and see what he comes up with. farely i said i thought, but your right, so heres....

20s arent even that big... its only one size bigger then 19s... 19s with a 2" drop fit on our cars. sure 20s are usually wider but nothing rolling the fenders or even getting a widebody kit cant fix

everyones got different taste [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] some like kits and wheels and appearance, i give lj props for doing it, ive seen numerous 6th gens on 20's at the shop i work at, but chrome should stay off our cars unless tastefully done (i.e. weld racing racelite 11.5lb 17inch street wheels [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] ) it would be like rolling on a rollerskate, how much would those 20's weigh? but of course it won't see more then the show floor and a few feet of driving for the magazine shoots Btw what show car isn't overdone? heck i feel my ***** overdone and im a daily driver hehe... but anyways leave it up to the widebody man to bring us something new.... just wait till it comes out in modifiers version

yes there are 2 civics rollin in the san fernando valley side of socali.... i do part time work at Darksidemotoring in Chatsworth, Ca. and have been close with them for about 4 years... ive seen alot of **** come and go, lemme tell you there were some massive fender flares and alot of cutting... to make it safe one of them cut out the top of his wheel well and put in enforcement bars..... i looked at it and was like ok props nice project but.... the time effort and money just to get your civic lowered and on 20's wasn't my cup of tea.... but hey anythings possible... and yes he still rubbed hehe... i was pretty sure he had some lowenhart ld1 knockoffs on there.... to me those should stay on the suv's and trucks they were made for [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] maybe lj should put spinners on his **** haha... anyways... if homeboy rolls by the shop and i have my digital, for sure ill let you guys in on it... btw it was a 97 dx coupe more info on dside? http://www.darksidemotoring.com
