Nope, not bitter. Uhm by pass valve? let me check ill reply later if i find it. I think its all used up though and kinda broken, is it supposed to be 2 pieces? cause mine is 2, and i had trouble installing it, so i just threw it aside.. besides.. i heard it doesnt really do much.... for that to work, you'd have to be redlining your engine while simultaneously sitting in a three-feet-deep puddle of water......... kinda hard for water to go against gravity like that up a 3" pipe with little force. LOL

is it sold yet?
If not, would you consider a trade? My 3-4 month used red AEM SRI (for LX auto) + $50 = Your Injen CAI

I wish you had this on earlier in the month. I just got mine. I like very much. Just in your defense from the earlier thread, yes I do feel a increase in power, mostly from the take off. My car does jump a bit faster off the line and the sound of the intake is freaken great. I did not gain huge hp like injen said but still am happy with the product. again just in your defense.

Nah dont buy a bypass valve... aint worth it. you'd need to be revving your engine to redline WHILE the intake is submerged in foot-deep water for it to have enough force to actually DRAW water up. I drove around in the rain with it (heavy rain too) no probs. Besides... i dont think it will be raining much anymore

now that u mention that ur probably rite, but maybe the reason u had no prob with intake on ur car is that stock bumper kind of shields the intake but on my car the intake is right next to my front bumper opening gaps on kit
