Need help really bad?
Hey wassup...right now i am rollin on 215/45/zr17 tires on a 2in drop all the way around...and my camber is all off..so i took it to a shop today and had them correct it...BUT...they said that i would need to shave or roll my fender so that they could correct the camber...i;ve checked out a couple places and they said they were goin to charge me bout 60 bucks a side...so bout 120 total...and then an additional 95.00 for camber correction...and 45 for the 4 wheel alignment..just curious if anyone knew any places that would shave or roll the fender for a cheaper price...thanx

thats some BS right there...you don't need to roll your fenders to stop gettin negative camber. you need to buy a camber kit. i got some 215/45/17 too, and my ish is fine, well i got negative camber, but i just got a kit from hondawerx for 140 shipped. a full kit. you don't need to roll your fenders unless you want to.

ya 215-45-17s are some pretty thick tires.. its about the size of my 18s and i know if i wanted a camber within spec i would have to roll them too.. i would just do it myself.. use the bat trick... jack up the car, stick a bat between the tire and fender and start rolling... people say it can crack the paint but i dont think it would... i'm sure the shop doesnt do anything to prevent the paint from cracking either... if you want specific instructions, just ask here..

one of the main reason why i need it is because i have a no finger gap..so its really close to rubbin...the way it is..wit the negative camber..once they straighten the tire..its gonna shredd the tire up
