Do you leave your rims on during winter?

I know a lotta people who live where there's a lot of snow take their rims off. But do you guys living in so. cali where there is no snow leave your rims on or take them off. I'm really thinking of getting rims right now. should i wait for the Spring or does it really not matter in so. cali?

I leave my rims on 24/7/365. There is no need to take them off in southern California. As long as you stay away from curbs..you should have no problems.

I know it doesnt snow in so cal but it does rain pretty hard, and when it rains that means more potholes on the roads. I mean i dont take my rims off either but you should take it into consideration that road conditions wont be the same in the winter time

I don't see any reason why you would have to take your rims off in the winter in Southern California... the worst thing we ever get is hail, and its VERY rare.

HA HA, It does snow here in So. Cal... didn't ya'll know? If you think you can have better traction with stock tires/rims then change them during the winter... but then what would be the point in having AA or A traction and A on weather ratings...

its because of chains that they switch rims and the salt on the roads. and plus greater surface area adds to more slippage...i wont put chains on my rims. the chains i have scratched the hell out of my old car's rims. but its really all a preference on how much you love your rims.

i am dying to go to mammoth...but for 60 bucks a lift ticket? ill ride summit...when it snows....supposedly they are open.

yeah my brother said mt high got all the snow. mammoth use to have this college club type thing were you signed up for it for free and got this card and you had to take it and your current school idea to the counter and you got a lift ticket for 32 bucks. it was such a sweet deal that we actually went every weekend. but i guess they lost a lot of money on it because they ended it the next year. oh well i wont go as often now but ill still go ride there...thats where i learned...oh the memories (ouch haha)
