if there is a weight diff between the 2, it would be negligible at best...... both are pretty light to begin with anyways. now if ur asking about tensile strength, that's a whole diff. story...

kevlar is stronger and lighter than carbon fiber but un terms of cost wise carbon fiber is better because its cheaper and in terms of the real racing world is more easiler available. And iirc when it comes to curing and molding time carbon fiber is faster.
