I was driving on the 60 freeway this morning and I saw a 2005 Accord Hybrid driving in the carpool lane with those carpool lane stickers that you see on Prius/Insignt/Civic Hybrid. wtf? I heard accord hybrid gets only around 25 mpg

the point is that I believe accord hybrid is not supposed to be issued with the carpool stickers. It is like, to an extreme, allowing a 15 mpg chevy silverado hybrid to drive solo in the carpool lane

maybe the pollution it makes met a requirement for it to be able to be in the carpool solo...?

yea the pollution is the reason they let those cars go on car pool. don you notice most cars in the car pool lane that have a sticker are hybrid.

u got it all wrong....cars have the "carpool lane" due to the reason of emission. NOT on how many miles they get with a gallon
