Is no current lic. plate tabs citation correctable?

As above, I bought a car from a dealer with almost expired tags (1 mth before expiration date), dealer says they will handle everything. So I paid my registration etc, and got a new car. I received my registration but no stickers, so I called my dealer again and they say they will ask the dmv about it, dmv says it will be mailed to me but I did not received it and I already forget about it. And a few weeks ago, I got a ticket from UCI parking for no current lic. plate tabs. I submit a citation review but they send me 3 notices of delinquent parking violation in the last 2 weeks, so what should I do?

all u gotta do is contest the ticket saying that the DMV has not sent the tags to u yet and u'll get off no problem...take it to the UCI pd on campus and tell them that and contest it...they cant do anything about it if you can prove the car has been registered b4 the parking tickets were given

iamboo is on a distinguished road
during high school when i lived in riverside, I went to UCR to study at the library and once in a while i would get a parking ticket for parking in guest parking too long. I pretty much threw away the ticket everytime it happend and UCR even called my house one time demanding payment... I pretty much ignored them because I called the dmv and they told me that I didn't have any holds on my registration.... no big deal right?

anyways.... almost 2 YEARS LATER.... when i went to renew my registration, the dmv told me that they added the unpaid UCR parking tickets to my registration fee... when i got the tickets, they were like $25 a pop... since they haven't been paid, UCR slapped a late charge on there and now each ticket that was late was almost $50...

The lesson here is... pay your parking tickets as soon as you get them...

in your case, i would just pay the ticket if it isn't too much and then have UCI reimburse you once you recieve the tags... just show them the date of the envelope when you recieved them along with the date that you recieved your registration...
