modding cellphone
hey man, 
i got a unlocked cingular branded v3 that Im using with Tmobile service. everythings cool and Ive thought about debranding it, but the cool thing with my setup is that I can still somehow access the cingular myNet services and it only charges me as airtime...so on nights and weekends unlimited access to all the cingular stuff like games, pics, tunes, internet access etc.
My question is this: could you unbrand my v3 but still keep this 'mod' that i have with the cingular wap?
also what other mods do you recommend...I've heard flex and flash to the most recent software and also that their is now a flex flash packet for tmobile that recently came out...any thoughts on that?

yes I can mod phones internal but not casing n stuff. I can install alot of stuff into your phone such as legit games, I have a razor myself and have about 30 games in my phone. Forget cingular charging 5.99 per game, I get for free.
Also the flash/flex gets rid of the many bugs that the razor has, it also unlocks video record and so much more.
At the moment I can only mod the motorola v series as I only have files for the v-series and nothing else.
let me know if you guys want me to do it. Ill see what I can do.
you dont need access to cingular once I flash you phone you will be able to get any game for free, you will be able to make your own custom start up and goodbye, you will be able to upload new themes, you will unlock multiple phonebook search, the flash/flex will also give you about 30-50% more memory or more depending on what you want to delete. Flash/flex enables you to delete anything u want such as that hellomoto video which is a big waste of file.
scard of voiding warranty? dont be.. as long as the flash didnt kill it, I, myself, returned a hacked phone to cingular to receive a brand new one only because the keypads didnt light up. But rumor has it that many many people returned their flashed phones and cingular doesnt care about it.

Rep Power: 289 right now I only have files specific to the razor. Ill do for 30 bucks each phone.
You will come to my house in la since everythings configured in my pc, then I will flash the phone with monster pack which also flexes then use a reflash, you will end up with around 50% more internal memory, fix some bugs, such as AIM bug, enable video recording if you dont have it yet, add multiple phonebook search, allow you to delete stock files such as that hellomoto video which is a big waste of space. and MORE, I can do all kinds of stuff like add games free, add dictionary, add stopwatch, add student calculator for hard equations that the stock phone cannot handle.
THis does not void warranty, My keypad did not light up so I called cingular and they gave me new one and the one I handed them back was hacked with latest hack firmware.
edit: doing this will not unlock your phone and there is a slight possibility it will lock your phone to a carier if your phone is unlocked, so its best if you have a cingular branded v3. that is most easiest as other branded phones will be more research for different files.

Rep Power: 289 theres hacks for all phones, u just do ur own research for it and when your ready you flash it. But I havent looked into it personally, only for the razor since it has alot of features locked from the factory due to competition.
that sounds all fine but $30 for modding...?

Rep Power: 289 they teach u how to do it for free, but some people are stupid that they dont learn. This guy from hollywood wanted me to flash his cause he was a mac user so I did it for 25 bucks and bought me lunch. Ohwell, you can also check out howardforums.net
