I have Tein basics and my rear passenger strut is acting up.

there is a nut on top, along with a washer. All of this is on top of a rubber bushing. the rubber bushing is SUPPOSE to be cupped inside this cup thing. and now the rubber is out of the cup and its making ALOT of noise! I tried tightening the nut but its as far as it goes. every time the shock compresses it moves around.

Help me guys

looks like u need new rear upper mounts

there should be a washer on the shaft before the cup/spring hat is put on.

then another washer on top of the bushing topped with the nut.

This would prevent your issue from happening.

Either tighten the nut more.

or take it apart and make sure it was assembled properly.

I have tried to tighten it up and it worked but now it is coming out of the cup again, and the nut is tighten to the max.

Thank u punking for the assembly pdf. I will check it out 2mrw...I got to clean out the inside of my car though, it looks like I've been on a long road trip.

after inspection at nodneros pad...things are all there, in place, in order...and situation is still the same. geezus dont tell me i have to invest in another suspension.
