I've been trying to find a summer job here in socal for the past week and no one has called me back. I just went in for an interview at office depot. The manager said he'll call me in a week. I would think that you would get hired right after the interview, but this is strange to me. I hope I get hired.
I already applied to best buy, circuit city, compusa, good guys, sears, and albertsons. Now, I'm just waiting for their phone calls. One thing is that I currently go to college and don't have any job experience whatsoever. So that's one downside. Other than that, I'm quick to learn and able to adapt to new challenges.
Are there any other summer jobs available here in socal?

Rep Power: 283 try working thru a temp agency. They find you work and they charge the company your working for the services. Thats a good way to gain experience.

I work for an Agency I can help you out and send you to work.
To be honest they dont pay much, plus its general labor only.
Oh and one more thing, opennings are in the cities of LB Carson
If any one else is interested let me know.

My boss just bought a motel in Fullerton and needs help soon.
Position is front desk with other minor duties here and there.
All hours available and he'll even rent out a room if you need it.
