Short Shifters

Whats the difference between something like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33736

and a revo short shifter? Because 100$ is alot to pay for me when I'm jobless and still in highschool. Will this make any difference at all? I dont race, I just want my car to be more fun to drive.

in other words. Is this worth the small amount of money and will it make any difference?

-Thanks.

i think it would help, but the quality wont be as good, you pay for what you get although everything i have bought off ebay has been very good although it doesnt come with any instructions, if you get this do a DIY for installation of it

well for onw that on't fit in our civics. look at it. our shifters dont have that ball and then the bearing, the bearing is inside the ball. if you get any kind of shifter thing just get an adpter not a new stick it won't do anything for you.

Alright thanks. Does this work?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33736

and would I have to buy a new shifter...stick thing? Or do I shave it down or what?

ONE MORE THING: Do they even sell Revo SS for my '96 DX? all the ones I find are for '01 and up.
