I got a fix it ticket on Sunday.

On my way to palmdale to drop off the kids I went over Angeles Crest since we went hiking in the morning. CHP was out there ticketing all the bikers. Needless to say a pig just got done with a biker "heard me" coming up the road, My radar detector is going off, I let off the gas(I was going 45@ 3500 rpms) as I pass him up. And here comes the pig following me for like a 1/4 mile. Lights me up and tickets me for having a loud exhaust, tint and no carb sticker for the intake. He made me pop the hood open and was searching for anything. I tried argueing him on the exhaust and the intake. He just wouldn't have any part of it. He didn't say **** about the kamikaze header. So I fiqure I just slap on the stock header with cat and go to the ref. For the tint I think I'll just pay the fine instead of fixing the tint. Sunday started off good but after this it just got worse. I hope everyone has a good day on Monday. Later.

hey man, that sucks..but heres the deal...for the intake you should just put your stock intake back on when you get it checked...as for the window tint is there anyone you know who has stock front window with no tint that you could switch with for a day or so??...

finally, as the the exhaust...the CA exhaust law is 94 decibels or 92 which ever @ 50ft..if the cop didnt have a decibel tester then how would he know you were over the legal limit?..dont just pay the ticket, a fix it ticket after your fix it is only 10 bucks but just paying the fine is ALOT more expensive

Ah, where? Oh man, you tricked me...

Well, it's only a matter of time until I get my hood popped. Hopefully this military thing can get me by a lil longer. I'm gonna go get my veterans plates soon.

hiflow cats are illegal?....and yes if a cop pulls you over and your car "looks" like it has more modifications then they can ask you to pop the hood.....most of the time they check for HIDs and ride height being 23" or above

Damn Dru $250. I thought it might been less then that like cheaper then replacing the tint. I think I'll just take it off. Thanks guys for the support.

hey i never asked if you had a cat, I assumed you had no cat, but my question was if you got busted for having no cat. I suppose the fatass cop didnt want to bend over and see under the car for a cat?
