Tonight ye ole faithful stock battery died on me after almost 4 years of service...and in the middle of a thunder storm
Pretty amazing that I've drained it 2 or 3 times during its life and it still got me this far.

I was planning on buying an Optima Yellow online but I can't wait for shipping time now.

Anyone know of any shops that sell the Yellows close to eBay prices (~115 ex shipping)?

LA Co or OC...doesn't matter I'm willing to drive for it.

i know costco sells optima batteries. I seen the Blue top and red top. But not the yellow. Check them out there...

Kragen online sells the Optima Yellow D51 for 118.88 + tax with a $10.00 core charge.
That's less than eBay's shipped price.
I'm going to call my local Kragen tomorrow and see if I can get the same deal in-store.

i'm friends w/ this guy who owns a sound shop he would sell you one for $120 installed. If a couple of you want some maybe I could tell him $100 flat installed. Let me know if you want em and i'll talk to him tomorrow.

I need my car for school and work tomorrow so I had it jump started and headed over to Pepboys.
I bought the Yellow top 51 for 129.99 + tax which is about $140.
Even thought I paid more, at least warranty isn't an issue.

I work at Sears. I sold my friend his Yellow Optima for 79.99. The power of over-riding the computer! YAY.

i checked at costco. The blue tops are freaking 142 bucks. Wowzer!!!
