AEM has my car
I just dropped my car off to AEM on the 14th for EMS testing. They said hopefully they can get at least 10 hp out of it maybe more. So maybe just a little more hope for the D17s

You would be giving up your AC for this right? I thought that there was an issue with ac on the 7th gen civic when using the ems.

"just an update"
they did the first test on the dyno and want to tweek it some more so they kept my car for another week.

actually I'm a bit impressed ... looks like they raised the rev limited about 600 rpms. turbo people should benefit from this the most ... ems > emanage, maybe?

and yes it has AEM's cold air intake and DC header along with Denso IK20 plugs but nothing else was done to the motor

ofcorse these number wont be excat but it will give us a idea.
stock base hp for a ex manual should be about 97hp. now we take intake and header witch give us as we see in the base dyno 106hp thats a bout a 9hp increase and that's being generous. so with the ems it went up to about 123hp. so we have a 17hp increase, now there still testing and tunning so im sure they can still bump up that hp.
now imagine if you had i/h/e/pnp/cam/ems/im as a n/a set up. i think we would be looking at some nice numbers for our 97hp car.
im just glad to see someone out there is acctually doing something for the d17, like AEM and CROWER, they should have a set of cams and other internal parts out for us very soon.
