Hey Rudeboy, I gotta ?

How do you like the PG Ti Elites? I like the way they sounded in your car and I am ordering some 5"s? What do you think about them so far?

...does anyone else know anything about or have these comps?

I like them alot but I have a few issues with the wiring the person did to the speakers so I plan on rewiring them when I get my new pad and ,I'm just gonna do some extra things like dynamat the doors and stuff and do some extra tweaking however some people don't like my speakers because they say the high's are really bright which is true sometimes the sound a little to over the top. But after I get the other things taken care of I'll buy an EQ to smoothen them out a little but as for the mids I get out of these are great but right now they aren't running their best cause my amp is overheating sometimes' so I'm gonna change it to a JL 300/2 so I don't have to bridge it anymore. which is why I think my amp is overheating.

you can AIM me if you wan't and I can answer in more detail. my sn is: ChiefLotzADough1

haha, best IM name ever!! Thanks for the reply.

I liked them alot when I heard them in your car, which made me concider them when I was thinking about speakers. I was originally gonna go with Quart PCE 213, but been there, done that...ya know...lets try something new.

I need something that can keep up with my bass, and midbass...and that is no small feet. My current speakers are good, but the tweets do not perform as well on the floor as the would in the sail panels. I think they perform better on axis then how the Q-forms face them.

I like bright tweeters, but having them in the kicks will tone it down a lil. I have three concerns about the speakers: 1) will the tweets be loud in the kicks. 2) Will the 5" fit in the kicks 3)They are rated for 250 watts RMS!!! Is 150 watts enough power?

Are they getting loud enough for you? Is 150 watts enough?

Yes the speakers are very loud and I'm actually running it at 150 watts each so I did turn the gain down a little until I figure out the other stuff. I like them bottom line and you don't need more then 150 watts to run these speakers if you go to the meet tommorow night you can probably hear them I'm at a 50/50 chance at going to the meet for dru106 tommorow.

I can't make that meet, but I will go to the one on Saturday. The Amp I have is rated for atleast 150x2...so I should be good.
