curious

i know this is a stupid question. i have a 04 dx coupe. when i get to about 112 or so, it cuts off like i have a governor. if this is the case then how do i get it removed.

Get an EX. Then you can go up to 127 or whatever they say it is. At least we now know how fast a DX can go, haha.

There is a governer built into your ecu that drops revs if you try and go over 112. Your stock S rated tires are safe at 112 mph and below. That's why it is governed.

I guess the EX doesn't have the governor or it's set at a higher speed. To all the EX owners: Does it feel like your engine drops off when you hit max speed?
