Shietz mang. Id rather have Butler then Kidd becuase who is going to be able to run the floor with Kidd? Vlade is gonna pass out in the first quarter, Brian Grant will have to stop due to smokers lung and Odom will holdout due to having to run too much.

I am sorry they let Fisher go know since he could have had the point again, but I think that this is due to Kobe yet again. I think he was trying to get rid of all the players from the old lakers so he can prove that this is his team. Now, the only peoples from last year are Rush, Cook, and Walton (unless they got rid of one of these guys and I dont know it) in which only Rush got a lot of time last year. Walton got more in the playoffs and Cook was just too foul prone to stay long enough in a game to make a difference.

damnit. now we look stupid for losing fisher. If he knew we were going to trade GP, then he probably would have considered staying, since he'd most likely get to be starting PG. But I have no objection at all to losing Rick Fox (the aging player who struggled to make a single jumper, nor 3, in last years season), and Gary Payton ( who choked like no other in the playoffs for us).

i have a good feeling we aren't getting jason Kidd for sure. Mainly because his contract is too much to handle, and if we did sign him in a trade deal, we'd have to undertake his remaining contract, which wouldn't allow us to be flexible in the offseason, since Kobe and Kidd would take up more than half of the payroll.
