DOPE A$$ X-BOX....read this... Ok you know how everyone wants like a PC in there car...well more like a storage device...
Well on X-mass eve one of my friends brought over his X-box to wrk, which he had moded...Now he's been talking about this thing for a while and about how bad a$$ it was but i payed no attion to him cuz I'm not really into video games much...But i rememberd him mentioning the MOD so i took a look at it....
Well it turns out that the X-box is windows based.....hence a mini CPU.....well what he did was added a chip they now sell for it for about $60 bucks....or so...and added it to the xbox...what this chip does is allow you to up grade the BIOS and hard drive on the x box to any size drive...so meaning you can take out the X-BOX HD and put your own 200 Gig HD for more storage...
So he did ...YA YA YA get to the POint your saying ...well now that he added this new storade divece and the chip he is now able to store his video games in the X-BOX so he no longer needs the CD's to play the games....not only that he stored full DVD movies on there as well...not only that!!!!! he has songs there....MP3, WAV...ect...all stored on the X-BOX..a mini CPU....
Well what does this mean to you?...well you can take the X-box and put it in your car and hook it up like a mobil intertainment center....you dont even need a dvd player,cd player,MP3player,wavplayer..or cds to play games cuz its all in the X-BOX Hard Drive...
if that is not enough for you...with the new mod to the box your able to play emulated games..(did i spell that right?...anyways) meaning you can play like atari games, dreamcast..ps1..and i think ps2.....
If you got somthing new you want to add to the HD...maybe some new songs or new movie...or what have you....you simply take the x box out of your car...into the house and over to your PC and connect the USB cable it comes with to your PC and download all the new SHI^ you want in there and off you go......
from what i seen I'm guessing he had like 60 games on there ....20 moivies....a whole bunch of songs...and some other files.....all in his x-box...

Rep Power: 321 lol....every one wants to get in on my projects.....lol...I think this is so cool since i already have monitors and Tv....I think I'm going to go out and get one and mod the box....i think i have like a 160gig drive laying around some where.....

Rep Power: 313 Sorry bro nuttin new to me I have had that upgrade for months! A guy in whittier does that upgrade. all you have to do is bring him the hard drive and your X-Box and he can do it.
