I don't think anyone can remove a motor in 1 hour...well they could do EXTENSIVE body damage...
Scroll up and read my post, i know alarms suck. Lojack is only good if you know your car is stolen right away. They now have this thing that notifies you if your car is messed with too. A freind of mine has it. i think its amusing that every other hour or so his little paging device goes off letting him know someone leaned on his car. Oh and this pager thing only works a few hundred feet away from your car. Anyway, car thieves are always a few steps ahead of the game anyway. Why do you think BMW's, MB's, and all kinds of SUV's leave this country through the Port of LA everyday? Cause Lojack doesnt work either, not if you have a high tech thief, but we dont have to worry about those kinds of thieves I think their customers want a little more car than our CIvics
Yup, lojack only works if you know your car is gone right away. If a good car thief gets your car while you sleep consider it gone. Lojack doesnt send GPS signal either dont trust the ADS man. It gives off kind of a homing beacon, and only police cars that are equipped with this technology can detect it, and trust me not all cop cars have this installed.

I did not know that. I've never really met anybody that have had negative experiences with lojack so I thought it was a great tool. I'll have to look into it....... now there aren't that many options.

I went to nopi in fontana today the 18 of october and I saw shaqs escalade and it had a fire trucks horn as an alarm!! **** that hurt my ears so bad lol, the guy didn't know wtf he was doin!
the best thing i know about to prevent a car being stolen aside from being broken into
is a simple fuel cut off switch with one or two ghost switches. those that know the proper*
way to install a cut off switch AND a ghost switch will agree and for those that do not
I suggest you learn.
Again, it will not stop the perp from breaking a window and maybe stealing what is at hand
but I can assure you that the car as a whole will stay put.
*key word is 'proper'
