Exclamation Help me with front rotors!

So I have heat spots on my front rotors and they're pretty huge. Dealer says it will cost me $71 to get them resurfaced but then I thought about buying new ones, I figure might as well, but I dunno **** about rotors. What is out there and for how much? Thanx ...yo!

Is that 71 bucks for everything? If so then that aint a bad deal. But if its just for resurfacing, you can usually get a better deal at a local parts store that has a resurfacing machine. It use to cost about 10 bucks per rotor or drum, but that was a long time ago. I'd call around first. This is all assuming that your rotors will still be in spec after resurfacing.

go to www.optauto.com and look at their AEM rotors. cost 292 w/o shipping. shipping is around 20 bucks i think. or you can go to www.groupbuycenter.com and check out the brembo rotors. i dont know how much those cost though. good luck

You can get a pair of brand new Brembo blank rotors for around $90 shipped from Tirerack.com. I think that would be a better deal than the $70 they're charging for resurfacing our crappy stock rotors.

Yup, i'd definetely go for the blank brembos from tirerack.com

btw, $71 for resurfacing is a major rip off.

I looked them up, and they are AIMCO brand rotors ... I've never heard of this brand before, and I'm pretty sure those are not stock Honda OEM rotors. I thought that was what you meant when you said "stock rotors".

Not sure how good this brand is, but if you like them then that's what counts I suppose.
