i was going to buy a remote control car.... the gas powered ones.. and changed my mind... cause peeps in here said it was a waste of time and money.... so wanna get something for my car now... i have the basics... intake, exhaust, lip kit, mp3 player, stuff like that... so any suggestions..... if you don't have any suggestions.... i was thinking between these two.... what should i choose...

either a civic si rim with tire.. probably costs around 400-450
or
a koni yellow shocks at tornactive.com and some eibach prokit from adventon.com

both of them will be the same price roughly...

i only have these two in mind... any other suggestions?

and NO i don't want bass, amps, and all that other stereo stuff... had it, don't have it anymore, and don't want it anymore...

any suggestions will be appreciated... thanks..

i'm not a big fan of si wheels. i rather spend the extra $400 and get 17s.
why prokit? you can hardly even tell the car is dropped. koni yellows alone go for like $550.

Get your windows tinted if its not already done , I like the si wheels but you would have to get it lowered with the si wheels or it looks funny caust there only 15's . You could get the si wheels for 350 or so and get goldline springs for 140 or used on the forums.
You could also get a wing of some kind OEM, coupe 3pc , mini me commando and so on it all up to you theres so much to buy . Or you could go for more power and get a N2o kit or a Apexi Safc or Vafc .

the reason why i wanna get a prokit is because... i want somewhat of a drop but not that much.... cause driving in l.a. too many holes and horrible streets.... and by the way would i need to change my shocks if i get the prokit.. since it is only like 1" drop....

I don't think that the pro-kit will blow your oem shocks....the drop is minimal.

I would buy the pro kit and keep oem shocks. Spend the rest of the money on tinting or an intake or save more for rims

Ya know the Prokit rides good, and it wont kill your OEM shocks right away.. But, if you can wait and save a little more, I know a place that can do Eibachs and Koni Sport for 709+ tax........

I posted before to get diff ideas on what kind of susp. The majority told me to get Teins Coilover set up,,, But since I drive alot, My wife and sons rides with me, and I didnt want it to be too low I decided on the Eibach/Koni..........

I have the stock rims and tires right now, But as soon as i get 17" rims with low profile tires it WILL look tight..........

if you get prokit you might as well stick with stock springs...both look the same...and im serious too...why spend money on new springs when your stock springs are the same height...

Vnlilman is right, you got to have 19's to be a baller like me. hehe. I would get some lowering springs but would get a different spring than the prokit. Maybe the sportlines, or the neuspeed sports. Those have a better drop and a nicer more agressive look to the car.

I have the Eibach Sport Kit, and i'm pretty satisfied with them. It's supposed to be a 1.7 inch drop, but it turns out that it dropped so low that the fenders rub, even after rolling them. But then again, I have a custom trunk system to weigh me down. I personally would recommend the sport kit with koni, it's a nice drop, but still not too low if you don't have excessive weight

and yeah..theyre about 1.2-1.3 inches drop...they looked pretty clean when i had my 17s but i need to get rid of em because im in the process of tradin in the vic....i live in la too and yeah....i feel yah about these shieeetyy roads here ...... theyre perfect if you want to use oem shocks....

keep your cash, save it for something really worthwhile, unless its burning a hole in your pocket and you can afford to . then go blow it on something stupid.

I would go with the lowering. I don't like the Si wheels that much especially the new ones on our civics. Other then that you can give me the $400 you have.
