I don't know if this is the place to post this but currently I'm rebuilding my friends 2003 Civic EX. Unfortunately for him his stock block is scrap. Would anybody in AZ be selling a D17A2 bottom end or entire engine? If this isn't the place to post I apologize.

Rep Power: 424 TEMPE -- The Tempe Police Department could become the first major law enforcement agency in Arizona to drop its national accreditation and kill its photo enforcement program.
Police Chief Ralph Tranter made the recommendations Tuesday to members of a special finance committee looking for ways to save money for the city.
He said it costs the department about $100,000 a year in accreditation fees and other administrative costs, but the city receives little in return.
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc., an independent company established in 1979, evaluates the department every three years to ensure that police departments meet certain standards.
"Not only do we meet their basic standards, we exceed them," Tranter said.
Tranter also said that killing the photo enforcement program - red-light running and photo radar - would save the city nearly $250,000 a year. In addition, to keep the program, the city would have to pump in thousands of dollars to update its antiquated system.
Tempe was one of the first Arizona cities to use photo enforcement, starting in April 1996.

Rep Power: 0 Since nobody pays for their tickets when they get em in the mail. You dont have to. Its the biggest waste of money. Im sure if somebody got 10 or 15 of them, they would possibly get in trouble.
The photo radar tickets are more of a good faith ticket. They hope people will pay them, but they dont really have to, lol. It would be a good idea to get rid of it, IMO. It doesnt stop red light runners, and the speed radars do no good, since everybody slows down for them (Between Scottsdale/Hayden on Bell (Frank lloyd wright)). They should sell them to another state, lol.
