any ideas?

I'm to lazy to research on this so i'll just ask, if you get an engine swap (including the trany) from japan, where nissans have the steering wheel on the right hand side, are the gears backwards (ie, 1 is where 5th would be and so on)? Just wondering because my friend has a s13 and whats to get the sr engine, and well i just just thinking, i mean it would be a pain in the *** to convert a left hand driven car to a right hand driven car.. i dont know i'm just bored....
oh yeah, i have to come up with some design/product (at least 2), to design (make a 3d model, and then draft it and all that good stuff, SOLID EDGE kicks *** for this) and then once all that is done be able to build. The part has to be an assembly of at least 2 or more parts, at least 1 part has to be machined, and the other cast. It can be an existing thing, but i would have to improve on it, and i must be able to get permission from the original maker to alter their product. Its a 2 yr long project, anyone have some good ideas as to what I should do???

JDM shift patterns match the way our cars shift and the pedals are the same... you just get to shift(like a tard in the beginning) with your left hand. Drive it for a week and you're ok with left hand shifting.
Watch some best motoring videos you can totally see the shift patterns and the foot work with the great sync'd camera shots.

Peace
