Im getting a full kit, fuel system, and clutch for 28, and with tuning it will be 2950-3. not too bad at all with everything needed for reliable boost.
Definately with the right hookups you can do it for like 15-2000. I wouldnt think its the best stuff though. I dont have hookups for that though, so not sure.

when I say cheaper I'm not talking like a "$800 pieced together turbo kit" because it just can't be done for that cheap. I would still be spending around the $2000 range but that's a lot cheaper than what I've seen these complete kits run for. I already have a FMIC, Turbo, and IP lined up once I'm ready to actually piece one together, so its just those "other" key components I still would need to run it safely and right.Give me a couple months here and I will have one pieced together and tuned. Maybe a clutch later once mine burns out on me.
I'm still just debataing and talking about it so its not a for sure thing but if I do go through with it I will keep ya guys notified.
With the money I have right now I could do other things to my car that I really want to do but not sure if I want to spend the cash on them like a cf trunk,HID's and ground controls. But we'll see what happens in the future.

Cool, We need some faster vics in AZ. We have like the slowest cars, and a pretty big import scene. Its sad. I hope all three of us get boosted.
I couldnt even find all the parts for a custom turbo for under 3000. I am paying like 2800 with a new clutch, so thats not too bad. Also 100 for a pillar and gauges.
I would like to see somebody put a 800 dollar turbo on their car, so i could watch them go kaboom. hehe fun

lol, yeah $800 turbo kit wouldn't happen unless it was stolen and sold for that cheap. Hey Chris, by the way, what turbo kit did you buy for $2800? let me know!

PM SLP (streetlevel) and see what kind of deal they can do, if you wanta clutch as well, they can probably do a better deal. Thats why they knocked some extra off. Dont say what Im paying, but it should be right around what Im paying. They should beat the lowest price you find.

oh ok, now I understand. I just went on there and the TSI extreme kit is going for $2795.00 and the Exedy Organic Clutch is going for $238.00, thats what threw me off when you told me the price for everything was $2,800.00. So they gave you a deal on the t-kit and clutch because you bought the clutch too?

he hooked the kit up first, and I also needed a clutch, and asked what kind of deals I could get.
He saw when I was gonna order from needboost.com and sent me a PM saying he could beat their price. They were 2599 + shipping.

I drive allllllllll the time,a nd havent seen any. I saw a brand new Lambo 2 days ago, it was soooooo sick. He was chasing me in and out of traffic. Then he let me have it. I got some pics of it, Ill post em up sometime with my turbo pics. That was probably the nicest sounding car Ive heard in a long time. Just wants to be driven hard is what the motor was saying.
I dont think there rice I think it would look nice. As with anything rice I think if you go overboard on anything thats what makes it rice. Hey Joeyokc are you the one that works at discount on shea. My girl was just in there at lunch with a white corolla. She said ther was a silver civic in the parking lot.
nevermind I just realized that is ryan(olytrojan)

lambo doors do look nice depending on what your car already has on it. If you have some huge mismatched ugly body kit then it's going to look ghey. I have seen that one sedan at Pharcyde car show in november and that car is ugly and the doors look ridiculous on it. Now maybe if he took that body kit off and actually dropped it lower and got rid of the ugly chrome wheels then it would go, wait..............he needs to get a whole new car!
