Angry Got my first ticket last night...

So after being caught at a red light down on us1 by the beach (my friends took off through the light), i was trying to rush up to catch them on 595 westbound. Of course none of them answer their cell phones and i had no clue where we were going. I fly by a state trooper doing about 95, i obviously didnt see him and wouldnt have been speeding if my so called "friends" would have waited for me. Anyway he pulls me over and tries to say i was trying to get away from him, i say "Sir i was trying to get over to the shoulder". then he yells at me for interrupting him . In the end i got a $271 ticket and a "If you take this to court, i will eat your *** alive." from the officer. Should i pay it and take the 3 points or go to driver school?

If need be you can move to General Auto Ramblings.

damn, that guy sure is rude, i usually don't bother with tickets, because the cops got me fair and square. but i guess you got a reason...

you should get those friends of yours to pay for the ticket. a few friends and i cause another friend a ticket on the way back from the movies (got him to race a tib with his gran am) he got a 160 dollar ticket for rapid lane change and speeding (72 in a 55). the few of us paid for his ticket for him, now that's close friends

and usually, before we take off in the cavalry, we get our destination right, and tend to have the lead guy to be the most care of the group (will stop on yellow, to wait for the rest of the cars, etc...) learned that from hanging out with the 7thgen crew

man... I hate police officers.. specially those from Weston and Troopers...
The sad part is that if go 70mph on 595 is fine...even 75 mph
But if u got pulled over u'll get a huge ticket because the speed limit is 55... I dont understand that ****... they should change the speed limit to 70...

very true emmc. even though i was doing 93 in a 55 i wasnt passing the other cars as if they were standing still. plenty of other people were speeding i just happened to be in the left lane and he was sitting on the shoulder on the left side.
