Rep Power: 0 K Swap started, but not in a EM
My fiancee drives a EG1, it has served her 2 years, but the motor is starting to have problems. What sucks is that she just got a paint job on the car, and she doesn't have time to sit here and keep the car for us to look at it, so instead, we are just going to do a 5sp conversion and a k swap
when she first got the car and put wheels on
cf hood, ksports everything, every strut bar i could buy her
before paint
in paint
out of paint
it's funny, she get called out on races all the time in her lowly d15. but hopefully, that will change soon.
New Engine:
K20Z1
2 liter
201bhp@7600rpm
140lb/ft@7000rpm
8100rpm redline
11:1 compression
close ratio 6spd
$too much money
Misc parts we ordered so far...
Avid Motormounts
HR Conversion Harness
HR Radiator Hose Insert
HR Fuel Line Kit
HR Clutch Line Kit
Karcepts Shifter Mount Kit
Karcepts Radiator Relocation Kit
AEM Swap Intake
DC Swap Race Header
Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
BDL Fuel Line
PDQ Upper Radiator Hose
HR Lower Radiator Line
S2000 OEM Shift ****
Buddy Club RSX Shortshifter
we are going to put together our own axles using the 89 accord. we still have to source out a 02-04 ecu and do a hondata since the 05-06 isn't compatible with the swap yet. our goal is 225hp in her sol for daily driving, she doesn't need too much power.. yet
hr might be hooking us up with a prototype dual core radiator, but i need to talk to them more.
Pics once everything starts to arrive

Rep Power: 372 K20z1? Yeesh lol, hope you bought all the right electronics. Also, close ratio 6 speed? the z1 has the same transmission as the ITR minus the LSD. How much more close ratio do you want

Rep Power: 0 i believe i got all of them, as far as i know, a k20z1 requires a kpro'd 02-04 rbc ecu, and a o2 sensor from the 02-04 rsx. i don't think we are missing anything else

Rep Power: 0 we are sourcing out the rbc ecu and o2 from k20tuned.com, hondata is asking too much for a brand new ecu and honda wants too much for a o2 sensor
