I was late but I did show up for HIN. I forgot to get cash on the way though and my father in law was like "it's ok they take plastic at the convention center". To get through the parking gate they took credit card so we thought we were all set. Until we waited through the line to find out it was cash only for tickets. Well, no prob there is an atm right there... which ran out of money after waiting in line for 15 minutes. There were like 200 people in line for the atm. So some guy tells us there is an atm in the west building. It literally took us about 25 minutes to walk over there!! We got some cash, made the trip back... now it's almost 8pm and I'm just getting in after being in at the place since like 6.

I thought it would get better. It really didn't. I missed any of the free stuff that may have been given out. Couldn't really SEE any of the cars since it was so dark in there. I really feel bad for anyone that paid $100 to enter their car... you couldn't see them! And taking pictures of anything was nearly impossible. I got a few good pics, mostly of the blonde Barton chick.

I felt that the whole thing was extremely disorganized. It was so dark and crazy inside that I didn't even notice the Lamborghini and Ferraris up front til I was about to leave. Also I was not impressed with the booths. There were not that many, no one was selling anything, and most of them didn't have anyone to talk to.

I did talk to the guys in the Tein booth and told them about how I got ripped off on ebay... they knew exactly who I bought from. I also asked the question that I debate with people all the time: how to pronounce 'Tein'. They said it rhymes with 'rain' just how I thought it was. =)

I'd rate it a 5/10 overall. I remember a couple cars specifically that I really had fun checking out: a red silvia by, and the Lotus, Lambo, and NSX. Also, the half naked chicks were pretty nice. I just wish someone had turned on a few more lights.

Yea Its Gotten Real Bad Since All The Movie Hype Has Gotten Around. I Still Enjoy Going To See If There Is Anything There That I Havent Seen. The Judging System Is All Messed Up But It Has Always Been Like That. Had A Great Time This Year Until They Anounced The Awards. But Oh Well What Are U Going To Do. My Team Did Win Best Crew. Jinsoku What!!!!!!!

All they gotta do to make it better is turn on some lights. I want to SEE cars and girls. Just knowing they are out there someplace in the dark is not good enough.
