03+ sedan or coupe. The coupe has red rings, sedan has blue. Both have white numbers and are interchangable. Nobody has tried to put one in the SI, but if the actual cluster fits, it's just a matter of finding the wire diagram and rewiring it.
that's HOT, I want one... damn the Si got screwed :-( RSX AND 7thgens got them but not the Si, what a bastard child... anybody wanna try a sedan/si cluster swap straight up trade?

Oh man the 2001 clusters balck for the sedans lol, never seen one... hmm so I'd have to buy a whole 2001 sedan cluster than rip it all apart and put new faces on? That would let me keep my miles AND the amber color eh?

Oh well no my bad. The color is painted on the back of the cluster. Sedans have a greenish yellow color and coupes have that amber/red. So it wouldn't be perfect, but you would have to clear the new faces by using acetone to get off the paint on the back, then put some red bulb covers over your old bulbs to make it light up red.

sedan 2001 is the only black one. 2002 sedan is silver. You can keep your miles. All you use is the different face. Everything else is your old cluster.

Well the backlight is just 5 clear bulbs. The color is painted onto the back of the face. I had to clear the paint off mine to put all the blue goodness back there
You could even wrap some EL wire back there to change the color if you wanted.

hmmmm, I'd want it to look as stock as possible, I wonder if I could achieve that with mabeh an amber cover... wonder if honda has the paint whatever they painted it with LOL.. sounds like alot of work, but mabeh it's not
Take gauge out, take face off, replace face with sedan one, remove paint with aquwhatever lol and then put amber covers on the bulbs....
Then i screw it up and it looks like permenent crap LOL

Mine came out okay... it won't look perfectly stock tho. Here's a pic of what someone else did using the red bulb covers and clearing the paint.

Hmm yeah see thats EXACTLY what I want, the defi gauges look just like that until you turn them on, then they turn an amber color that looks just like my stock coupe cluster at night... so I'm looking for that face with my color now lol
EDIT: My needle is kinda redish during the day, and it's lit up red at night, I'm assumkng yours was like that and you just took the color off right? =)
