focus 2dr zx3 vs. 01vic, who would win?

Focus are the slowest car in the compact class. Slower than Protege, Civics, Neons, Cavaliers, and Elantras.
You should beat it. Having said that, I don't know what kind of driver you are... but if you're good, you'll have no problems.

Rep Power: 0 i'm not bad, but last nite he was reving at me and passing me on the free way, i was kinda suprised by that bone stock focus....u sure the zx3 are slow?

and the focus had mods to so you should be able to take a stock focus
unless it was a svt focus and you thought it was a zx3 if it was svt it will beat us they have like 170 stock

Civic EX stock = 127hp
civic lx stock = 115 hp
i would think a 5speed focus zx3 & 5speed civic EX would be about even & it would come down to drivers skill...i test drove the focus zx3 before buying my civic (both 5 speeds) and they seemed the same as far as acceleration but i didnt really stomp it during the test drive.
how do you know the focus was stock if he just passed you on the freeway?

the focii are slower than the civic. (though they are very close) However since you have an auto, if his is manual he will probably beat you. Again, throw driver into the mix and who knows. I'm just telling you what SHOULD happen.

I ran against a SVT Focus. my time was 16.4 and his is 16.8.. I have time slip to prove it but I can't put it up since the file size is too big. if you need it that bad I will e-mail it to you.

Rep Power: 401 ihe 5 speed probably would still lose to a stock SVT. someone who can drive an SVT focus should hit low 15's. Our civics dont gain enough from IHE to drop at least half a second in the 1/4 mile.
