Rep Power: 0 2003 CRV and my '01
My dealer invited me to a gathering last April 14. they had test drive units of CRV's which we really TESTED. the CRV here in the Philippines is powered by a K20 only and is a 2wd model. so we had a manual CRV pulled out and the civic became its benchmark. 0-100kmh, 1/4 mile and even slaloms. We did in the streets of a developing village. Since it was a Honda dealership that usually took customers for a test drive there, it was legal.
0-100kmh --- the civic came in at 9.2 sec. the CRV at 11.65sec.
1/4 mile --- civic: 16.80 sec. (don't know what the speed is, no radar) CRV 18.34sec.
slalom was pretty much more of handling and im impressed with the CRV. in fact we just bought one but its an auto.

nooo. The engine bay in our cars is not as easy to work with. The 6th gen had a lot of space, but the new one is way smaller.
