i dont know..the only car i draw with auto was my company car..so what i did was i shift to nutral and hit a trottle to 2500-3000 rpm and shift it to drive...that was fun..but i killed a transmition very fast..that's how i lost my job..
now i'm driving a van at my new job...

Biggest regret ever was me buying an auto, ah well looks like it's time for new torque converter to keep up with the manual trannies. The Racing guide in automatic gives you everything you need to know.

You can do the torque braking. That gives ya a little jump off the start but is bad for your brakes.

torque braking is painless for your brakes (its just like when you press on the brakes to stop)... it only stresses the torque converter

but the converter can handle a lot more stress from torque braking than your tranny can handle from neutral drops

i agree dont do neutral drops, that will blow your transmission in no time.

I have a 13 second 94 Civic Sedan LX Auto. hahaha ya thats right 13 seconds in the 1/8 mile at Qualcomm. I raced my friends Mirage (Apexi N1 muffler&custom piping) 2 times and another friends (StreetTurbo) 7th gen DX Coupe (stock) and lost them all. I got OWN3D by the 7th gen. ummm ya I knew I didnt have a chance with an Auto but I only did it for fun. O and i bet that i could of had the mirage if i had a manual tranny.

some pics at Qualcomm...

That race, I had a .6xx reaction time. Its kinda quick being up there. Once you lined up, the light goes pretty quick and i tried to power brake and i just tapped the gas a few times and then i took off. haha. I took him off the line both times but auto sucks.

I replaced that tail light bulb

StreetTurbo's 7th gen. he had some silver RS Limited Ikaris but he got a flat from some pothole. He could of had the rims in the back and the stock in the front but that looks gay.

ooo ya while we were waiting in the line to race, my friend steered while i pushed, and he would rev the engine and yell out the window PSSSSHHHH like it had turbo. he did that about 4 times. Some older lady in the back of another car was laughing her *** off. Then we got up next to some 6th gen vic, my friend did his turbo again and the guy was like Daamm thats some ghetto turbo. Then my friend busted out some johnny ricer stuff on him. He drew a torque curve with VTAK and did the cell phone calculation thing...Horsepower to weight ratios says youre ****ed.
