stock 2k1 civic vs a modded 97 civic
hey guys! im about to race a 97 automatic dx sedan civic (he has headers,intake,cat back exhaust) and i have a 2k1 automatic sedan civic dx(just have a muffler
, and rims)
The thing is this guy likes to talk alot, and he thought he could keep up with my friends base automatic rsx, and he got SMOKED! Ive raced my friends rsx b4, but i wasn't there to see them race. He thinks he'll smoke me, but my friend(rsx) says it would be a close race..
do you think it'll be close or will he smoke me?
just asking for opinions, ill tell you the results when i race him

I got 17's too, and kinda heavy with low pros, all I have is aem cai, and tanabe racing medalion cat-back exhuast system
and I smoke gt celicas and accords ( never raced the newest accord with 240 hp, doubt id win though)
I say go for it and see, hell post the results even...... I can actually claim to have beaten a v6 mustang and a porshe, it was a relatively new model, but not extremely new, so maybe not to great an accomplishment, but it was pretty fast, I just took him to bad outta the whole....

i raced my friends rsx 160 hp and my civic ex only with intake.. i took off faster 
but when the rpm from my car was coming down from 5 rpm to 3 his car took off and i just stopped cuz there was no point of going..
