2002 civic SI
I wanted to post my encounter with a 2002si (sorry no race 
)
Last night i was driving down Jericho in New Hyde Park, there were no cars in front of me, and i see in the left lane what i thought was an older model civic hatch back, i see the car start to slow down and match speed with me, its a girl driving with a passenger, she looks at me and i'm like nice were gonna go, there werent any cars infront of us, so what the hell why not. I'm going real slow at this point, so i drop from 2nd to 1st, spin the tires a little, to my surprise, she doesnt even move. I hear her honk three times, and the passenger rolls down his window and goes "Yo u want tailights for that car?" I'm like not really man, the girls like "cmon, i got carbon fiber altezza's at my house, i'll give em to u cheap!" me-"nah still not really interested" , so the passenger rolls his window up and i realize i gotta bang a quick right into the dunkin dounuts parking lot. I'm sitting there chatting with my friend, and i see red flashing lights on Jericho, but i cant see the cop cause the building is blocking my view, about 15 seconds later the cop rolls in, and starts starin at my car, probably drove by about 3 times before his buddy ran in to get coffee.
All that and i didnt even get to race

The races are ok, Hempsted Turnpike friday and saturday night is a good place to find people, not neccessarily to race, kinda crowded and lots of cops sometimes, but u can always set something up. If u take jericho into westbury, for some reason there is this one stretch where there are a few lights and i always catch a race coming home on fri/sat nights. One night i ran 3 wide, me in the middle, Saturn runing Nitrous Oxide to my right, and some nicely painted (not modded) 89(?) prelude on my left. Deer Park Avenue used to be the **** out in Suffolk County, to many cops patrol now.
