well after 5 weeks of owning my car...i got my first experience tonite. i hopped on 315N (3 lane highway) and i'm doin my ownthing, speed limit, and i see this integra jump to the left lane a few cars behind me. he as comin up fast and i let him catch up and he gave me a moment to move over, and i didn't so he switched lanes to pass me. i wanted to see what car it was before i got involved. it turned out to be the previous gen integra with exhaust and i could hear the intake as well. so he passes me and as his rear passes my front i wail it with my intake and exhaust. he hears me and guns it, so we're goin down a stretch till we meet some cars and i pass him, cuz he couldn't pass me nor switch right. so i get in front and we're doin slight weaving, then it was OPEN roads...and i've never seen the road so open at 9:30pm. he moves lanes and we hit 110, so i slow it a bit, cuz he wasn't gainin on me at all, we were equal. he takes the opportunity and gives me a flyby, and i was like what the hell and so i followed him again tryin to gain and pass him. i slowly crept on him, till we met soem mroe traffic, and he slowed down and my exit was comin up. we pass some cars, still goin fast, and I pass him real fast cuz i'm about to get to the right most lane to get off my exit and this late model benz zooms up and purposely blocks me so i can;t...i slowed down..he slowed down, i sped up and he did the same. he was pissin me off. so FINALLY he stopped and zoomed off like i was standing still. i got inthe exit lane and the integra pulled up next to me in the left and flashed a peace sign. the nwe parted. good night roll. sorry for beign so long...'m sure you all knwo how hard it is to put to words every pertinent detail in a race story.

This is correct, just because its a dohc doesnt mean its faster. Some of the acuras are slow. i have raced a couple and won. I was like when i won

Stock LS manual can run 15.8 with a good driver. Stock LS AUTOs do 16.7ish. You've probably raced automatic integra LS, as there's only 3-4 people on this site with 15 second 7Gs.

Integra LS's aren't that fast. They're about dead even with my Pro 5 going uphill at least (that's the only encounter i've had). There's a good 1/2 mile 35% incline on hwy 1 heading to North Van and by the end i was about 1 car length in front.

Actually I beat 2 five speeds......one was a 93 the other a 98....both the same mods.....I/H/E, and one of them even had a downpipe......I was stock for one race, the other race I had my Greddy catback on (not say that does anything).....but i have beaten 5speeds....the front of his car was by my driver side door....i didn't dog him, but I beat him. And he was by himself, I was with my friend he was sitting shotty. These are both LS's I am talking about.

my cousin have 1992 GS integra and we raced once for fun and i won by a car length. i think he's not that good driver.
