One fine sunny afternoon I'm headed to work over at the local JC Penney (back like 7-8 months ago). Here I am just crusin along after going through a stoplight. Along comes this ****y *** mustang gt driver. He pulls right along side of me says (or screams), "Better eat your wheaties!..." SCREACH! Off he goes, leavin me and my lil 1.7 fo-banga in shame. I guess i intimidated him with my neato lil APC trashcan sized muffler LOL. I thought I'd share that with you. Any Vic drivers in Louisiana gimme a holla a XSRCivic@msn.com.

actually if the car is well maintained, it wont need to be in the shop to be fixed
as for imports vs dometics... i think its unfair to enforce strict emission standards on imports, yet domestics are gas guzzling smog machines.... GIVE US THE SKYLINE!!!!!

Why? The truth is american cars suck ***. 4.6 L and all they could squeeze out of it was 260 hp. Honda got 240 out of a 2.0 (No turbo, no supercharger, no juice) and could smoke the 'stang like it was parked.
So, yeah...
I never owned another "pony" car until 94 when I got the Firebird Formula. The Firebird has the LT1 with automatic, is pushing 100,000 miles and has never had to go back to the shop. It mostly sits in the garage now, except on some nice sunny days and an occasional Saturday night. That's when I let the newer model Mustangs look for me. To me there's no compaison of Ford to GM. I got my first GM car in 86 and have stayed with them, except for the CRV and the Civic.

Also, top end, the car would be a damn dream to play around in

yes, for a true sports car it does lack torque. but it makes up for that in 70mph 90 degree turns.

lol... i actually don't remember. but I know it's one of the better g's on the skidpad than most production cars. and modification can take it even further. in fact, for a suspension modified production car, I believe the S2000 holds the record... the Spoon S2k at 1.19g's.

the link doesn't work... i believe because it comes from a flash/java window. and no offense, but i'd trust numbers on a car review from C&D about as far as I'd trust osama bin laden with a nuclear warhead.

road and track isn't bad. though i should say i dont trust C and D's 1/4 mile numbers. they are infamous for getting times my grandma could beat. but i would think they are fairly on with skidpad and such, so i'd like to see the numbers. but road and track, and motor trend are usually getting the best times out of the cars.
