ok.. so i was changing my oil at my dads shop.. when i notice this subaru svx...
i notice a big *** tach on the dash... ok? its an autometer tach with shift light... it goes up to 10k rpm...
anyways.. this strikes my curiosity so i look in the cabin... and what do i see?!?!?!
an AUTOMATIC transmission
thats right folks an aftermarket tach with shiftlight in an automatic....
the owner wasnt there.. but it had rims and an exhaust too.... i forgot to ask why it was in there.... so thats my story and im sticking with it...

well...this would be somewhat "rice" if svx's came in a manual transmission. as far as i know, those only came in auto. damn shame too...that was one ballsy car. wish they would bring it back cause id buy it over the wrx any day.
Tach mounted inside of an automatic transmission vehicle is not always considered rice. I have a friend that has a truck thats automatic. The truck doesnt have a rpm gauge in it and thats how it comes stock. So he put in a small tach to keep track of his RPM. So in this case I believe a tach would make some sense. Just my opinion.
