i was on kazaa and typed in "street racing" and saw civic vs. viper, so i DL'ed it and was shocked to see the civic win. i figure 1 of 3 things happened, 1. viper missed a shift 2.it was staged 3. it was rigged (like friend of viper bets on civic). if you got kazaa i suggest you take a look, also keep an eye for civic vs. corvette, the civic wins in that too!

I found it now. The Viper had a terrible launch. Look at the tracks he left. I think he just spun all the way through first and caught second at a low rpm. Other than that, he caught up pretty quick to the civic. But too little to late.

If it's the video of the Civic (far lane) vs. Viper (near lane) where the guy is speaking French in the video, that's st00pid in the Civic. He was running a turbo B16A back then. The reason why the race looks so close is because st00pid let off toward the end to let the Viper catch up because he was trying to get him to go for a money race. That Civic ran somewhere around 10.9@132mph.

yea, i saw that video a while ago.. i thought that it was just bs or the civic had some beefy shiz in his car...
