Got a question about getting a car ready for a car show.When people enter a car show do they usually use the rims that they drive everyday with or do they use and extra set that has never been drivin on and Im talking about people who are very serious about winning.

I am not in any car shows or anything, but if i am, then i would have a seperate set of bling-blings just for the show, bling blings are great under a lot of lights

for a car show, you need a seperate set of rims. if you are a sponsored by a shop it is a lot easier and you can go as big as you want or as what is possible for your ride. as for my car crew and shop, we do not change the rims if the show is outdoors, but when i show is indoors, we bring extra sets of rims and rubbers to show off.

ppl that bring second sets of rims are definetly in the minority. I don't see many if any at my shows.

As long as you take care of the rims you have on your car, I don't see any reason to bring a second set. I just clean my car up really good, spend a few hours on it and im ready to go. I have a show tommorow. Last one of the year.

What people do for shows is keep what they have (otherwise why fix up your car?) and just get it extra clean for the show. Detail/gloss/how it looks is the most important. We usually get there to set up hours and hours before the doors open just setting up. It's all about presentation.
