Almost got a Ticket...
So, I went to wendys tonight to get some cheap fast food. Anyway, On the way home I took a roundabout way that takes me down a really windy hill. I go down the hill, like I usually do, then turn onto Redmond fall city highway which is a "rural highway" with a speed limit of 55. So I decided to try my luck. Anyway, I got my car to just shy of 100, then thought, Ok, that's enough for now, time to shut it down. So I slow back down to 55, and right as I go around the corner, theirs a cop who just pulled someone over. I slowly drive by thinking to myself "I'm one lucky SOB"
I know it's stupid to speed and all, but I'm a teenage male, so what do you expect, anyway It was 1 am on a road where no one was in sight at the moment.
Anyway, I feel like a million bucks right now for avoiding another ticket, It's amazing how i've still yet to get one.

Rep Power: 0 I'm the opposite of you, I keep getting SCREWED by the system. 
I've had a ticket for "crossing the gore" (3 points, $75) - i was gettin on 285 (the loop highway in Atlanta, REALLY BUSY, 80+mph) and the guy in front of my was only going 25, and I was in my 97 DX Civic coupe then, so I didnt quite feel safe, and I crossed the gore, and the cop said "I thought ya coulda made it". I then got a ticket for "following too closely" (3 points, $175) (rear ending someone, when I was driving a Ford Escape). The problem in GA is than anyone under 18 (I'm 17) only has 4 points to their license, and I had already lost 3. So I had to get a lawyer, who got me to first take a points reduction class (Where you go to defensive driving, and they give you up to 7 points back), and then she talked to the DA and got my "following too closely" made a "too fast for conditions" (0 points, $65). God bless the bloodsucking lawyers ($500). Use them if you ever go to court, you'd be amazed.

Rep Power: 0 I s**t you guys not, I've been pulled over at LEAST 20 times in my life. Not 20 tix, but pulled over a s**tload of times. Charges include obviously, speeding, driving too close, unsafe lane changing, (which enrolled me into agressive driving classes), stop signs, red lights, and again mostly speeding, oh...my tail lights, my license plate cover, my tint, etc. Anyways, COPS SUCK, and no matter what anyone says,
WE GET PROFILED FOR OUR CARS. Been to court 6 times, got off of three, three were reduced, had my license suspended.

so he is awesome... he is also my lawyer for when i get in trouble....and I am a little [IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]ish sometimes. But I have been pulled over over 20 times JUST for my underbody kit and have only gotten one ticket which I won in court here in the great state of Iowa [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] EDIT: West Des Moines cops are B*TCHES![IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG]
