Funny memory from the past...

I was idling in my P71 watching traffic on a hill during an ice storm last year. I couldn't make it up the hill due to the fact that I didn't have my LSD yet...and I was still running summer tires...and there was a 1/4" of pure ice layering this perfectly smooth road. I was off the road with my hazards on to warn people of their impending car crash. Well, within 5 minutes an Impala comes cruising down the road only to slam on their brakes and start sliding. They put it in reverse and you can see the front wheels spinning backwards as they hop the curb and take out a mailbox on the other side of the road. The front end didn't seem to be sitting right on the wheels, so I doubted they'd be driving off anywhere. I walked over as the two occupants exited the car. Before I realized what I was doing, I offered two police officers my cell phone to call for assistance. The driver just stared at me for a second then said "No thanks." as he reached for his radio.
