trouble with Police? should i be worried?

Well yesterday i was on my way to church(late as usual), and i saw this UGLY early 90's nissan sentra with altezzas' and 5 inch big spoiler... wel anyways it was this old lady driving it... i guess it was her sons or something anyways that's not the point, i was late and she was goign 25 on a 35, so since the road was a 1 late, and the yellow line in the middle of the road was not solid (meaning i could go in to the other side of the road and pass, well i did that twice, cause in front of that one was ANOTHER slow car, so i passed both cars and i thougth i was good. well at the light, this unmarked car comes next to me (it was a SUV, looked like this guys personal car) he comes out, writes my plates down and talks to me.. he said "are you crazy, driving into the opposite side of the road like that" i said it wasn't a solid yellow line so i could pass, he said yeah for the first car, but not the second car.... and i was complaining to him that it wasn't solid and all this BS.......... but he didn't give me a ticket or nothing, just said he was goign to the station to get a "warrant for wreckless driving" and i drove off.....

i dont know what to make of it, i dont think anything will happen, i guess i can just deny everything... unless he has witnesses, but i doubt it, so im just trying to see what kind of trouble i am in....... IF it was to be reported.............

any responses welcome, thanks..

Even so, is it illegal to pass two cars if they're going that slow? I wouldn't think so. For example, if one car had a flat and was running on a spare. Then he has a buddy tail him to make sure nothing else happens. So, if you're on a one line highway, are you just supposed to follow two cars going 40 mph? I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with passing multiple cars as long as you do it in a safe manner.

Next time someone does this heres what you should do.

Get out of your car with a pen and paper, OR a digital camera, and get HIS licence number, (If digicam, get a pic of him also outside his vehicle) and then tell him that you will follow him over to the courthouse so you can file a personal harrasment claim against him. Its illegal to pose as an officer (which is what it appears he was doing). The only time anyone can "act" as a law enforcement officer is during a citizens arrest, traffic violations are NOT one of the situations that falls under.

Okay I have a similar story about my old car about a year ago. I was on the way home from church. Some guy kept riding my *** in a green taurus (i thought it was my uncle) so he keeps riding my *** for two miles and then finally decides to pass me. So why not have some fun and I punch so he can't pass. Next thing I know there is blue lights flashing...wft. So i don't see him call in anything on his radio. He gets out and flashes his badge to let me see he is a cop but I could only see it in my mirror. He wouldn't just show it to me. He tells me to get out and go to the back of the car and then chews my *** out for all to see driving by. He gave me this bs about how he could tow my car and blah blah blah. Come to find out it was just some guy that was pissed off cuz church ran over and he was late getting home for lunch That cop that said stuff to you isn't going to do anything, he probably just wanted to scare you like that cop tried to do to me.
